Legendary brewery, tasty beer, hearty home cooking. Charly and Reinhard are completely relaxed. Nice beer garden in front of the house. Very authentic ..... wonderful board.
Enjoy autumn in Upper Franconia
best beer in the world!
Eat super delicious and the beer is unique. Can only be recommended, innkeepers are great.
Currently closed due to Corona. Drinks for β¬ 1.50 to take away.
Currently only beer sales. No food because of Corona.
Franconian rustic a draum. The home-brewed beer reveals Franconian Switzerland excellently! Fixed stop on our Mtb Tour
Very beautiful here
Great beer. Super schnitzel. Great atmosphere. Franconian cosiness pure and puristic. No frills. Anyone who wants to be served and spoiled is wrong here. Dubishly French
Cozy dining room. The Vollbier is awesome the food is excellent. We like to go when we are nearby. Service and staff absolutely top
An oasis far from the hectic city with good beer, delicious schnitzel and friendly owners.
We took a break here on a hike. Very friendly service, small but fine menu. Delicious schnitzel with homemade potato salad and two halves of the great beer. Would love to come back
Excellent, amber country beer. Spacious, lovingly furnished guest room. Small but fine menu. I had the schnitzel with potato salad 1a. Good service, hardly wait.
No matter what time of year on the rustic terrace or sitting inside and tasty ? veal, sour or roast pork with dumplings, ribs, sausages or Schnitzel everything delicious cheap ?da is not too far away ??βοΈ?βοΈ?βοΈ?
Pure chaos. We called to reserve a table for Sunday lunchtime. Supposedly enough free tables are available. So without a reservation. Everything was full outside on the spot and no free clean table inside. So first you had to clear the dishes and glasses of the guests in front of us. Then you stand in a long queue through the guest room at the counter to order the friendly service then food and drinks. The old glasses were rinsed briefly. Despite the some foam in it, the new drinks were filled and you could take them to the square. After a long wait, a portion of the food was served and informed us that the other order dishes are out. There were alternatives offered but then again long in coming. The food was ok, the beer good but the friendly service staff were completely overwhelmed.
Very beautiful traditional brewery inn. Delicious beer and the best pan schnitzel. Service is very friendly and fast.
Great beer, great food - perfect stopover on a hike. In the yard it sits with one or two Seidla extremely well!
Super good brewery restaurant. Here you do not go to eat but to drink beer. The offered food is delicious and as with Mum. The hosts and the farmer are very nice. Absolutely five stars, next door there's honey.
We were here after a cold hike and warmed up a bit while waiting for the bus. Luckily there were current daily newspapers and the service was very friendly. We even kindly sent a forgotten scarf straight home.
Best schnitzel and beer in the area, very friendly owners. Price is cheap as you know it from rural economies. When there is a lot going on, it can sometimes take a while to get food, but this is not so bad if you can sit outside in the summer under the trees in the small beer garden.
Small but super bustling the day I was there. One sip of their incredible Vollbier and I wasn't so surprised. Great (and large) mixed meat plate rounded things out. Had a Pils which was heading more towards the Hellerbock family. It was good but if I could go back in time, I'd have had another Vollbier. Hope to soon!
Hetzelsdorf, uhu aha I like it aha aha
We stopped by unannounced one summer day and found the brewer deep inside in the building cleaning equipment. He brought us into the cool room where we selected some bottles and then he left us outside on the patio while we did our notes. The beer quality was unfortunately poor, which was especially disappointing given how fresh and cared-for these bottles were, and because the brewer was so darn hospitable. I canβt say anything about the gastette or the kitchen, but the charming village and the friendliness of the brewer were well appreciated. I would like to revisit if Iβm passing through again, crossing my fingers for a better beer experience.
